Partner charities

The Helping Heart Family Rwanda organisation, or HHFR, is a Rwandan youth NGO founded in Rwanda in 2021. They support vulnerable communities through practical humanitarian and community-development initiatives. The organisation places particular emphasis on mobilising young people to participate in social action, connecting volunteering and community engagement with projects responding to identified local needs.

Their work includes assistance for vulnerable families, educational support and community-based initiatives intended to improve living conditions and opportunities. As a relatively young organisation, both in age and demographics, HHFR also demonstrates that locally organised youth charitable projects can effectively develop into structured community programmes.

The Ishik Medical & Educational Foundation is an organisation established in Tanzania in 1999, working primarily in the fields of education, healthcare and charitable community support. Ishik's initiatives aim to improve access to opportunities and essential services for individuals and communities facing economic or social disadvantage. They join longer-term educational and medical work with charitable initiatives responding to more immediate community needs.

They support initiatives ranging from educational support and medical assistance to immediate aid. Instead of viewing individual interventions as wholly separate, the organisation's work places emphasis on the relationship between health, education and economic opportunity.

We collaborate with the Ishik Medical & Educational Foundation in our School Water Points, Food Aid, Reusable Pads and other initiatives.

Nile Humanitarian Development Agency, or NHDA, is a Ugandan humanitarian organisation established in 2009. Its work revolves around holistic community support through both long-term and immediate relief initiatives. They support underserved communities by providing economic opportunities through education, medical support, food aid and more. These projects respond to locally identified needs rather than imposing predetermined solutions. The organisation works within communities to identify practical priorities and develop interventions that can be implemented with local participation.

Projects are designed around the circumstances of the communities involved, taking into account existing infrastructure, available resources and the capacity for projects to be maintained after their initial implementation. This community-based approach makes the organisation a potential partner for school-led fundraising projects where donors can support clearly defined local needs.

We collaborate with NHDA in our School Water Points, Tools for Growth, Reusable Pads and many other campaigns.

The Omeriye Foundation is a Kenyan organisation established in 1998 with a focus on improving access to education, healthcare and community support. Its work is directed toward communities where financial or infrastructural barriers make essential services difficult to access. By viewing community needs as related, the foundation approaches humanitarian development holistically rather than treating individual problems in isolation.

The Foundation's initiatives include educational assistance, health-related initiatives and more practical support for vulnerable communities.
